About Neil

I attended Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, planning a career in advertising. However, once I got a taste of High-Tech Job Placement in my mid-20’s, I found it greatly satisfying to advocate for engineers seeking career advancement, and help client companies secure the technical talent that they needed to maximize their potential.

After two years at Career Builders of Boston, MA, I founded Technology Placement, Inc., where I specialized in the recruitment and placement of Product and Process Development professionals. In another life, perhaps I’d have been an engineer myself. Instead, I decided to serve as an important cog in the wheels of progress.

In 1993, I was sought by Bob Kleven of The Kleven Group (estab. 1969) to re-energize their Manufacturing practice. Over the course of the next nine years, I was their most consistent performer. Following an acquisition in 2002 by Intellimark (IT Solutions providers), I left with their blessings to continue my work dba Hire Power Associates.

In 2006, family considerations resulted in a move from Boston to Baltimore, Maryland.

Our market focus is the ideation, development, manufacturing and commercialization of just about every physical product imaginable.

These products enable technology development, drive our industries, treat our illnesses, enhance our leisure time, and advanced the state of the art.

Being involved in facilitating this process is a privilege and a labor of love that I take very seriously.
